I now own a Cabo Rico 38

1983 Cabo Rico 38
Ex: Naelyan now New Wind
Found in Annapolis Maryland
Needs a lot of work, including Teak Deck removal and recore, some new non-Teak wood work down below, and a basic refit.

How bad are the decks? I love teak decks but do know how bad they can be.
Nice boat at any price! You own her now.. be proud! Congrats!

When I was looking for my boat we drove into a yard where one of these had a FSBO sign up. My wife drooled and asked "what's that?!?". I said "we can't afford it, but it's good to dream." Nice boat.

Very nice!
If all goes to plan I'll be joining you soon as I just put in an offer on a 1987 version.

Yes in the Group.

Launched on Fri the 9th and motored up the Bay to HdG on Sat. No issues with the Perkins 4-108.

Congrats and welcome... Just a FYI..Rock Hall IMO is the 'unofficial' center for CRs'. I believe there are more CRs' located in or around Rock Hall then any where else.

Re: I now own a Cabo Rico 38

If you are looking for a winter canvas cover for your 38' Cabo Rico we are selling ours. Just sold Alcyone and the new owner lives in the South, doesn't need it.

Congratulations!
I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with her. CR38's are really nice looking boats.
