Re: Catalina 425

Did you look at the 445 at all?

The 425 looks a lot faster, the accommodations on the 445 look a little more liveable.

It'll be a long time before I could buy either boat, but they both interest me.

Yamsailor,
Donít know if youíve seen them, but there is a Catalina 42/425 Owners Discussion Forum and a Facebook group you can join. It seems I donít have enough posts yet to add a link, but if you Google for ďCatalina 425 discussionĒ you should get a link to the TapaTalk board.

Re: Catalina 425

Actually the 425 is more livable. I was deciding between a 445 and 425 and the 425, in my opinion, is a better design at so many levels.

Interesting! What do you like more about the 425?

1) Staterooms are more practical
2) Access to systems makes maintenance a relative breeze
3) Air flow with the butterfly hatches is much greater
4) Huge amount of storage space
5) Deck is more user friendly for work and play
6) Layout is more user friendly.
