In the '60's and '70's there were "tons" of them in the San Francisco Bay Area. Handsome little boats that sailed very well. We always admired them (but wouldn't have wanted to maintain all that brightwork!) I'm sure quite a few remain...
Saw an article on one that was restored somewhere on the West Coast. Believe the article was in Good Old Boat though it could have been Latitude 38. Might see if you could get a reprint.
There's still a few around. They were built with teak planking over ipol frames, but the plywood used started to delam after a decade or so. I'd like to find some current owners, past owners, and hear their stories
Still a few of them in the (real) Bay Area. I've had several as customers over the years. You might consider sending Latitude 38 a letter to be printed, might generate some response.
