DIY Screens...

I made some screens to keep the mosquitos frustrated this summer. I documented it on my blog. SVArtemis.blog

Nice. I've done similar things, including storm windows for the cold in winter (basically the same, but with acrylic)

What they charge for those is usury.

Looks great. Actually, my next project is to do some DIY screens. Yours is a good inspiration.

Perfect

My wife made some which can zip into the Bimini / dodger zippers on the sides and in front for the mosquitos and they also have a shade component. In our summers the sun angle, especially for dinner or relaxing can fry or distract you. The screens make it great and let the breeze through

Re: DIY Screens...

I like the idea of shades...I have a pretty good sewing machine, and I am reasonably talented with it. Shades may be a future project. I just did major bimini repairs, and I am thinking that I am going to build a dodger, and cockpit enclosure.
