What's the size and type of boat?

Probably two days with lots of motoring. You'll be against current most of the way. No wind from 8pm-10am.

Did it the other way motoring in 24 hours with no wind. Usually you'll have headwinds though light.

tricky time of year for that trip. lots of changes of wind direction from day to night, Santa Ana gusty off shore conditions, westerly on shore and then to southerly, late at night which would be what you would want at the start of the sail. normally a long two day trip . depends on the boat and if you are planing on doing any motoring. I would not do it without a motor this time of year unless you are very experienced sailor.

In order to give you an estimate we'll need the type of boat and details like propulsion, rigging etc.
