I wonder if a pressure cooker is sufficient or if one needs a specific canner.
I read some pressure cooker reviews on amazon that said that if you are canning meat then you can't use a regular pressure cooker and have to use a canner. I think there's a lot of good info in this document:

Done incorrectly, you can really poison yourself by canning your own food. Mmmm...botulism.
I've enjoyed the series about Mads, thanks.

Deck Tour of s/v Mathilde

See how a simple fender board can have up to five uses, check out the wind vane Mads trusts while single handing (and how he tweaked it to fit his boat!), and see the compact dinghy that works aboard a small space with a big family. All this and more in this last episode with Mads Bo Falk aboard s/v Mathilde. Thanks again to Mads and his family for sitting down with us to film this wonderful interview and tour...Fair winds to you!

DrakeParagon EXTRAS!!! from our Mads Bo Falk s/v Mathilde series

Ahoy from Drake and Monique! Our upcoming DrakeParagon Season 3 episodes are coming out great, but we will need more time to work on them. In the meantime, we hope you will enjoy this very special "DrakeParagon EXTRAS!" video, which was originally published for our $5 patrons in February 2016.

-------------------------------------

BONUS EPISODE FOR OUR $5+ PATRONS!

We hope you enjoyed this latest interview and boat tour with Mads Bo Falk. In this bonus episode we take you behind the scenes to see what goes on (equipment failure - yay!), and also give a more in-depth peek into life aboard s/y Mathilde. Additional footage introduces you to Mads' children as Drake listens to their experiences sailing and sees what this family does to keep occupied on a rainy day.

You'll also get a chance to see stunning footage of the famous Faroe Island bird cliffs as Mads and his children spend an afternoon exploring this beautiful area. Word to the wise...don't forget to bring your camera!

Thanks again for all of your support and we hope you enjoy this extra episode!

To watch the rest of the episodes in this interview and boat tour series, see our playlist:

Fair winds!
