Solo Sailing, A day in my life - Learning By Doing Ep77

During a 7 day solo passage to Indonesia I show you a little of what a day on the big blue ocean is like. At the same time boring and exhilarating. Life is good!

Nice! The beauty of Solo sailing. On my list is to head out into the Atlantic alone for few days out of sight of land and just embrace the solitude for a few days. I'll leave trans ocean passages to young guys like you. Just a few days should do me fine. But, you never know.

I'm not sure if that would work for me, I need the goal of going somewhere. Whatever works though really, just getting away and taking care of yourself.

I certainly understand the need for a destination goal. I was never keen for just heading out for a few hours day sail only to return back to the home port. Though having sailed to most desired destinations around here as well as some long distance trips I've recently come to enjoy spending time just heading to nearby harbor or anchorage and hanging out until the fancy strikes me to head back. But, what I do miss is the solitude of being on the sea out of sight of land. Hence my plans to spend a few days out on the Ocean.
