Re: Why WE Sail--"Spring, Finally"

Excellent. As usual.

Just to set the record strait, we splashed in RI last Tues. Sails go up tomorrow. The frostbiting local sailing teams have been on the water for a month. It's a glorious time of year. No crowds, the pick of any spot in any anchorage, few transient docks are in, beach the dinghy. It's Spring!

In the harsh marine environment, something is always in need of repair. Margaritas fix everything.

I really like the clean, uncluttered look of a bigger boat without the canvas house over the cockpit.

Re: Why WE Sail--"Spring, Finally"

See, if you frostbite all winter, then spring means "consistent" breeze and no more drysuits, it's like heaven!

I would very much like to try ice sailing. Too bad I have to work in the Caribbean all winter. lol
