Primary Bosch Fuel filter & water separator help finding part

Lifted the cockpit sole to access fuel filter & water separator, it's a Bosch with the following part no stamped on top. 0450 198 009

I have searched online all morning and can't find a replacement filter anywhere.

1) Does anyone recognise this type, or know if there is an OEM filter that would be compatible ?

2) Does the second water separator bowl also screw off for replacement ? I can't find any documentation about this online. The engine is a Yanmar 1GM10

The engine runs fine, I drained fuel from each in turn and fuel looked clean and uncontaminated and no water. I have only recently purchased boat, engine has done 368 hrs on clock, so wanting to replace filters for new season. I'm in the UK.

Bosch is primarily an Automotive gas and Diesel fuel filter. Not surprised you did not come up with anything on the Part Number, but alot on the Automotive filters. I believe once you take the element out, you may have a number. Take it to Autozone, Pep Boys or any other automotive parts store and they may be able to reference it. If not...Time to change it out to a Racor.

Re: Primary Bosch Fuel filter & water separator help finding part

that is a common filter used on diesel cars and trucks in the UK and europe. take it to an good auto parts store and they should be able to match it. that is a good part number because it come up on ebay UK. Bosch Water Separator 0450198009 | eBay
I had a 1GM10 and it is a very good engine. that filter is a bit overkill for that engine and there are two of them. should last 1000 hours on that engine.
