Perkins (?) engine ID help

1 Attachment(s)
Hi All,
I am brand new to this forum and an the proud new owner of a 1977-ish? Morgan Out Island 37. It is a special kind of dilapidated, but it is water tight and the price was right (i.e. free).
I got the engine pulled. I think it is a Perkins 4.108. I have broken it all the way down to the bare block and sleeves. I need to order a rebuild kit, but I want to make sure I am getting the right parts. All of the engine ID stuff I can find seems to be in agreement with each other, but none of it seems to match the casting number on my block. If I figured out how to post a picture, then it is attached. If I mussed it up, then what I "see" on the block is as follows...

37 112 940/5

Can someone tell me what this means?
Thanks in advance.

Bill Griffin

Any parts and info you need on that motor can probably be had at TransAtlantic Diesel. Find them online.
However, do not expect them to give you part numbers and let you go shop online! They are not that nice.

I have been to their site several times. That is where I have found that my number nomenclature doesn't seem to match anything that they have on their engine ID page. Wondering if I am missing something, or do I have a different engine than I think I do.
