Setting the valve gap, and checking the injector timing (no adjustment if engine is running well) are easy. Simply align the timing marks, and make the adjustment. You need the shop manual.

Changing the oil drain location would require plugging the existing drain with a bolt and a crush washer and welding a new bolt onto the oil pan, then drilling & tapping a hole through the center of the bolt to allow the oil to drain. You would then repaint and install the current banjo fitting/bolt in the new drain. This would only be necessary if your engine is canted aft.
