I think I'll just keep it simple and stick with the green stuff.
I used the Prestone green stuff for years (1985 Perkins 4-108) until recently when a long haul trucker suggested going with the heavy duty stuff(Prestone orange -red) Apparently there is more corrosion protection in it vs the green and I did switch the system out after proper flushing. After I did it I read that the 4-108 has dry cylinder liners whereas the wet liners are where the heavy duty stuff is really needed so my efforts were for not.
Not switching back any time soon. I did not go with the extended life stuff.
