Shades of Boeing

I was going to watch my portable 9" TV on the boat when I noticed that the cover over the rechargeable battery pack had warped and popped open. The LIPO battery pack had expanded from the Florida heat I assume. LIPO fires are something I do not want on a boat. It never even dawned on me that my TV would have a pack. Who knows what other rechargeable devices have these incendiaries inside them. Thanks.
