Monitor shunt connections

So I have victron 700 battery monitor - 1 bank version.
For the shunt: Currently I have house bank ( the one I really want to monitor) on the battery side, then solar, wind gen, alt, and STARTING negative on the other side.
This is the way it was wired before by a professional, so I kept it. However I think I want to connect the inverter to load, charger side with all the other things and both battery banks to the battery side. Does this sound right? I have an ACR so the will be isolated when I’m using them..
Thanks in advance, you guys are truly great and I love being part of this community! Can’t wait till I have the knowledge to GIVE BACK!! Lol

Re: Monitor shunt connections

I have a Link20 monitor for 2 batts.

The shunt is connected to the battery mains - The other side of the shunt is connected to a neg buss where equipment negs are connected. Of course the small wires for the monitor are wired to the shunt

pay attention... someone's life depends on it
