Costco's are made by JCI, not a maker of quality deep cycling batteries.

The Duracell ones are Deka, which is, available at Sam's, B+ and Lowe's.

No more expensive but lots better.

Thanks for all the replies. Tried a small portable inverter and the TV was running fine for long periods without significant battery discharge. I’ll try to get through another season with these batteries and then upgrade to better ones.

I would draw the conclusion that you need to condemn your main inverter....
