Passive GPS boat locator

Hi,

Looking for passive gps locator for parked boat away from cyvilization. Need to be sending signal for at least 6 months. Sendig signal once a day is more than enough. Does anyone know where I can buy it? Thank you!

If you are just looking for something to make sure your boat isn't stolen, you could use a Spot Trace. SPOT Trace Product

Will there be cell service? You can use an old iPad/iPhone with an anchor alarm app that allows internet connectivity.

The Spot suggested above may be more reliable, but you'll have a service fee, not unlike a cell service plan.

The YellowBrick will run for about a year from it's internal battery reporting once a day. I think you can slow it down, but I haven't looked at them in detail.

Get a ham radio license and APRS is nearly infinitely configurable.
