Re: Help please!!!!!

I really can't tell what it is from the pic, but it's nowhere near high enough to be a bleed screw if it's even in the fuel system.

Re: Help please!!!!!

How about a better closeup. As is it looks to be the salt water inlet. Not very neat plumbing.

Re: Help please!!!!!

I suspect thats a dumb ass filter screen on your raw water in. Close the thruhull tap and open that unit .It may be plugged. ,corroded or someone took out the screen .Open the seacock while its open to confirm. It may help you understand

Re: Identify Engine Part please

Perhaps itís an engine flush or antifreeze adapter. Iím too distracted by not seeing a raw water valve, single hose clamps and what looks like a plastic barb adapter.

Re: Identify Engine Part please

The part is called a "Y strainer." The screw on the branch is to remove the cleanout cover.

https://www.metraflex.com/strainers-...-free-nsf-372/

No doubt the previous owner's good idea to avoid a proper (and more expensive) raw water intake strainer. From the picture it looks like black steel or iron so if it has been in salt water I'd be very concerned about corrosion... taking it apart may be a one way trip. At the very least, if the screen is intact, it is restricting water flow.
