Removing a throttle lever, from possibly a CH-2100
Hi all, I have a Beneteau 36.7 with a Volvo Penta MD-2030 engine. The throttle control looks like a Teleflex CH-2100, but it says "Volvo Penta" on it. I'm trying to remove the throttle arm so I can retrofit a Spinlock control on to it.
There is a set screw which I removed but the arm won't budge. It looks like there may be another set screw under the first, but I can't tell. The manual for the CH-2100 shows just one, but I'm not certain it's a CH-2100.
I think it may be corroded on and I tried to put some penetrating oil in there, but i doubt I got much in. Any suggestions are appreciated thanks!
