Snipe Help?

I have a 1977 Snipe without a gooseneck. Can anyone please help and advise me where to find a gooseneck for the pictured mast? Thanks in advance!

Re: Snipe Help?

First go to Dwyers website and identify your boom profile plus measure the diameter of your mast slot which I would imagine should be 3/8 inch:
https://www.dwyermast.com/families.a...cat1Name=Booms

Then go to their hardware section and pick out the one that works best for your application. Is any part of the old gooseneck left on your boom or is that missing too?

A picture of the gooseneck end of the boom will help so we can see what if anything is still there. If your fortunate you will not need the complete assembly. I don't want to assume that the boom is original to the boat or the same series as the mast either.

Have you checked in the sail bag?

Thanks everyone! I'll look into your suggestions. I appreciate it very much!

I checked with a few folks at the Sailing Center that worked with Clark Mills and they mentioned that if you have the gold mast there is a good change you have the square boom and the entire gooseneck for those may be a bit tougher to locate however you should still be able to get the pin and follower for the sail track fairly easily.
