How do I care for a carry on AC unit how do I clean it is there a filter

You should be able to find an operation manual online for the particular unit you have that will answer any questions you might have.

Look up the users manual on the specific unit is the best advice I can give you.

Home Store units are all slightly different but most will have a slide in foam or fine screen filter that needs to be cleaned once or twice a week and some will have a condensate bucket that can be removed to be emptied while others will have to be drained into a pail or over the side.

If you let us know the specific make and model a better answer will then be possible.
