Thanks for your reply. I have been to Pymatuning, Lake Chautauqua, Lake Erie, and Deep Creek with this boat. It is mostly used at Lake Authur because Moraine State Park has facilities to store the boat all summer lake side so I do not have to trailer it much to use it. The wind usually comes right down the lake from the west and does not seem to be bothered by the hills if you stay in the main body of the lake. Going back in some of the inlets is another story. The hills do block the wind - especially around the marina.
