Mast replacement

Hello everyone, I am looking at a 2014 Fountaine Pajot Mahe 36 Catamaran that is for sale and was damaged by a hurricane on 2017. The mast was broken and I am checking where can I get a used one at a reasonable price. The mast should be 45 ft height if anyone can get on a good track to find one would be great. Keep on sailing.

Re: Mast replacement

You will really want to find a mast with rigging that was specifically made for a 2014 Fountaine Pajot Mahe 36, rigging from scratch even a used mast from some other boat will be prohibitively expensive, may not be properly sized for the forces of that boat and so may be fragile or may be too heavy for the boat in question and negatively impact stability and motion comfort.

Re: Mast replacement

The mast is totally gone, or is it possible that sections of it could be sleeved together?
