Assistance w. 3D Modeling - Rudder Bushing

Hi all,

I am presently working on taking some of the vertical play out of my rudder on my Catalina 30.
In doing so I was considering having a custom teflon bushing made, trouble is I need a 3D model in order to receive a quote for same.

Anyone here who can assist with a very simple 3D model?

Re: Assistance w. 3D Modeling - Rudder Bushing

use the parts that Catalina makes for the replacement bushing. it is already engineered to do the job. teflon is a very soft material and does not make good rudder bushings, the material will flow under the movement of the rudder and could cause binding of the shaft. if the shaft is worn or scored on the bearing surface the teflon will be chewed up in no time.

If you want the ultimate in rudder bearings then Jefa is the way to go

If you download Fusion360 you can model part fairly easily.
