Captain Tolley's Crack Cure

Has anybody used this for spider cracks and if so, thoughts?

I have heard this works pretty good for any small crack etc.

Re: Captain Tolley's Crack Cure

It works on sealing clean cracks, spider cracks if old may be filled with all manner of dirt and debris. It may be almost impossible to clean out spider cracks enough for trolley's to do more than just stick to the crude.

Re: Captain Tolley's Crack Cure

One of my previous boats had a crack in a cockpit seat that had something squirted into it. There was a half empty bottle of Tolleys on board so I assume that was what was in the crack. Didn't appear to have worked at all. Crack was still open and the core was wet, but of course if was that bad before he had tried to fix it, nothing would have worked short of replacing the core and gassing over the crack, which I eventually did.

Re: Captain Tolley's Crack Cure

Used it on a leak where chainplates pierced the deck. Plus/minus. Smeared vasoline over the spot. Leak gone. 5cent fix that worked. If leak comes back will blow another 5 cents. Woo hoo big spender.

Re: Captain Tolley's Crack Cure

I ordered an 8oz bottle. I'll just squirt it over the entire boat.

I used this on my leaky windows, and it worked great. It seems to flex slightly, and leaky windows are now dry for two years. I added a little, multiple times.
