Boat stuff stores in Al/Fla?

Any particularly worthwhile places to shop for boat stuff on the Northern Gulf of Mexico?

I am in Kansas City and in addition to having a 4 day weekend out of the thanksgiving Holiday also have the following week off of work. I don’t really have a classic “vacation” plan as this one sort of just dropped into my lap. I had toyed with the idea of dragging the boat down to the Keys but in reality my boat is just not quite 100% just yet and I really do not have a perfect tow vehicle.

Anyhow, long story short, there is an obvious dearth of useful boat shopping up here. A couple of us kicked around the idea of zooming down to the Gulf Coast of Alabama/Florida and spend a day or two rummaging around some used boat junk piles to see if we can round up any fun bits. My boat is not too far from kitted but I would not mind snaffling up my anchor chain and several other guys up here are on fairly spartan boats that lack such obvious refinements as the means to cook a meal. We all know that the reality is that just mail ordering what we want would probably be cheaper but hey, it’s supposed to be rainy and cold up here so driving south for a while seems like a decent plan even if we skipped the shopping. Besides, who can pass up rummaging!

Many thanks!

Looking dreadfully yucky up here so it's seeming more and more like a good idea to run south for a bit 4
