Another HORRIBLE drone video

OK drone haters, time for more whining!

This is a horrible disturbance of Somes Sound in Acadia National Park. Evil drone flying! The horror!

:-) :-)

Re: Another HORRIBLE drone video

Beautiful shots of the boat and Somes, if a bit repetitive.

I don't recall reading any pushback on drones that are not flying close to other people and their property. Presumably, the owner of the sailboat is filming themselves and not buzzing around some unknown boater in a secluded anchorage in Maine.

Re: Another HORRIBLE drone video

That was beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

What we haven't seen is the intrusive spying drone video we have been promised over and over again.

All we see is this beautiful photography and music by people who apparently love sailing, love the water and scenery and want to share.

But thankfully, despite all this, there is no shortage of people ready to go anonymously online and swear how they will confront these evil drone perverts.

Re: Another HORRIBLE drone video

Very nice! You make me realize, Somes Sound would give tremendous drone footage. The dramatic topography is a great visual, especially from drone height.

Bet it's challenging too, especially in the narrow cavernous stretches.

That looks like you're anchored up the sound, just before the inlet to Somesville?

Looks like they are just to the East of Squantum Point. It is a great spot away from the crowds of Somesville...

Some people are quite predicably negative most of the time around here.

No complaints about exploiting loons?

Glad the rest of you liked it.

I take it, you're referring to your opening line?

Everyone complimented the vid. If you're twisted because I noted it was repetitive, I probably wouldn't have said so, if you identified that you were filming your own boat.

Again. Beautiful shots. Didn't see any drone use that relates to the discussions we've had on the forum.

Exactly why would these idiots publicly post their vids online? Who promised this?
