SW Florida

All,

Thought I would share a bit of news here for anyone looking to make a permanent base for their boats in Florida. It would appear Deep Lagoon (Fort Myers, FL) is now selling slips at special discount rates... only through the end of this week. You should hurry now:

35-40 foot slip: $255,000, up front. $250/month condo fee, the first year (No telling how much it will be in others).

Hurry Now! At these prices, they, er, hmm, won't last long!

WHATEVER!!!!! Where is reality in the real estate world, I wonder??? I guess no one told them the market has plummeted there. My anchor never sounded so good.

One need only remember the old maxim, there's a sucker born every minute.

Free, is the heart, that lives not, in fear.
Full, is the spirit, that thinks not, of falling.
True, is the soul, that hesitates not, to give.
Alive, is the one, that believes, in love.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
