Storm heading for PNW

Batten down the hatches, looks like it could be an interesting weekend here in the PNW.

What's new?
If memory serves, they have been having some pretty bad weather up that way since I was a kid. lol

No, no, no, NO!

I just landed in Seattle and want NICE WEATHER!

Hurricane Matthew is still forefront of my memory only a few days ago. So if its going to storm in the PNW stop it!

Wow, Sea Life sure is a speedy boat! It wasn't that long ago you were leaving NYC and headed south.
Enjoy the PNW. At least you won't have to wash the boat with all that rain. lol

Mark if you're seriously in the area, you picked a bad weekend.

Gales and lots of rain tomorrow, but the big one should hit Saturday with some pretty tightly packed isobars.

Yes. I am really here.
I like packed isobars as long as the bars are cheap.
Checking PassageWeather it looks pretty ***** to me. A coupla purple splodges is all. Not like the Caribbean when the Trades are full force.

I might go out for a bit of a wind surf.

Or if anyone is around Seattle I could be cohearched into a beer.

Mark... How did you make out/SeaLife make out with Mathew? I was concerned. Your sense of humor survived at least!

It has already hit Coos Bay. Nothing but rain so far. Expecting hurricaine force winds tonight.

Any good web cams to check out the wave action on shore?

Re: Storm heading for PNW

Looks like about 35 knots along the southern OR coast at present: https://www.windytv.com/?42.763,-115.972,6

Forecasts up here in the Salish Sea/Puget Sound region sound dire.

Cheers
