Believe me if there was contact this would be a different story, that the crowd of spectator Boats were allowed on the course is totally unacceptable. He clearly headed up to prevent collision, I doubt we know all that was said in committee after the race. Here we are all but internet spectators. Cool racing none the less.

Sometimes race organizers are not the brightest people. I have seen them start a race in an anchorage and also use the only entrance to an anchorage as the race course. The race committee in St Barths uses the only entrance into The main harbour as the race course. They have a whole ocean, but they claim the entrance to the harbour as the course. Commercial shipping must love them.
