Not sailing related but "It's Alive!!!"

It took about an hour to roto-root my cardiac arteries out, then they cut a hole in me and put in the pacemaker/defib.
I have an angry 3 inch slot in my chest with a thingy (technical term) about the size of a deck of cards placed just above my pec's.

The only cause for concern is I keep thinking I hear "lets get jiggy wid it" over and over..
I think it needs to be re-tuned to a country station.

We are not primarily on earth to see through one another, but to see one another through

Some people are like slinkies: not really good for anything... but you can't help laughing when you push them down the stairs

Jiggy? Jiggy with it??? They must have picked out an "oldies" station on purpose. I wouldn't offend anyone by asking to switch -- you might get "rapped"!

still with us

my chest feels like I was in some kinky S&M show without the benefits. This thing really hurts. Pain pills? take some tylenol boy and suck it up. I can't raise my arm over my head for at least 2 weeks, they don't want me to "pull the leads out of my heart, that would be bad, real bad" (God I love cardiologists.)
I've got this sling I have to wear to be to prevent me from doing just that.
Maybe now I can start using handicap parking.

Glad to here you're okay. Be thankful you're not in Canada, or you would be picking up Celine Dion on that thing.

By three methods we may learn wisdom: first, by reflection, which is noblest, second is by imitation, which is easiest, third is by experience, which is the bitterest.
