Boat transport

Can anyone recommend someone on the east coast who can transport a large sailboat? I have 2 scenarios: one would be to move it from VA to my home in Georgia or if I can get it to GA by water possibly move it from a boatyard in Georgia to my home 15 miles away. I want to get it to my yard for a full refit. 43' length X 13'beam, 30000lb.
Thanks!

Is it presently seaworthy?

Re: Boat transport

She might be able to make the trip. I'd just head offshore and blow it out but I don't trust the rig at all and the motor is debatable. I just want to get her home to do a refit.

Re: Boat transport

I like this list because it is essentially vetted by a big yacht yard in Chicago (Crowley's). Some of these are based in the Midwest, some on the East Coast. Even the Midwest ones may be able to do your job on a back-haul.
