Does this strike you as odd as it did me?

After just two wonderful sailing seasons, we have made the difficult decision to sell our beautiful boat.
The perfect live aboard cruising catamaran is FOR SALE BY OWNER: 3 cabin “Owner's version,” 2015 model Leopard 44. $529K
Single owner, well maintained, never chartered, boat of the year winner.
She is outfitted for passage making and blue water tested.
She was safely south (Grenada) this summer - so never faced any tropical storms.
Only 750 total engine hours.

ONLY 750 total engine hours in two wonderful sailing? seasons. Seasons, mind you, not even years!
Does Leopard make a 44' power cat?

It's possible they didn't enjoy the effort required to..sail it.

If they lived aboard and started the engine once per day for an hour to make hot water for showers, that is 750 hrs.

Yes, there was a Leopard 44 power cat. This listing (https://www.leopardcatamaransbrokera...gether-6529807) may be the 2015 boat in the OP, with less than 750 engine hours and 1500 hrs on the generator. If so, its back in Panama City, so that could account for the high engine hours for a 2 yr old power boat.

Our 323 had 280 hours in 10 years. The rest of her looked like she hadn't been sailed much either and we have not added too many hours either as we much prefer life with the sails up and the motor off.

I must confess that I was a little suspicious till I got some time on her.

The one w/750 hours is not a power cat, that was just a joke.

Nonetheless, you asked if Leopard made a 44’ power cat. The listing provided in my response featured a 2015 44’ Leopard power cat with about 750 hrs on the engine(s) at an asking price of $529K, just like the boat in the OP quote. Apparently that’s not a joke!
