I was in a hurry when I posted the link, so didnít have time to make a comment. I canít remember where I found it, but it seems that itís pure ďclickbait.Ē There are so many inaccuracies and clueless captions to the pictures. Itís pretty obvious that the writer has no clue what itís like to own a boat, and given the quality of his writing, will never have the money to do so unless he makes a radical career change.

Its a major over simplification, but it certainly isnt unreasonable for the skipper of a 100 ft boat to make $100k.

Heres Payscale.com for Canadian ship Captains. Median wage is around $123k.
