I love being at sea. I never get a chance to read a book becuse theres so much to look at.

These two photos were in an area I thought would be devoid of sea life... off Norfolk, USA... but...

And they'll turn it down for the cell they know

Have you every been surrounded by thousands of dolphins? I have all the way to the horizon in all directions. It was truly mind blowing.

Re: Pics which show why you love to sail

Just had my first sailing-with-dolphins experience on this last little passage. We’ve seen schools off a ways before, but this was the first time they swam with the boat for a while … too cool. Only a dozen or so, and the pics aren’t that great, but amazing none the less .

A few years ago I found myself in the middle of a dolphin 'party.' Girlfriend had just gotten her camera out and was perfectly positioned when one that had run up under the boat launched itself on a high arc away from us. I swear its apogee was higher than the boom. Absolutely spectacular!!! and the pic perfectly captured the splash where it landed. She watched the whole thing and completely forgot to press the button!

You just don't get to see scenes like this living inland surrounded by trees. Everyday gives me a new opportunity to be awestruck by nature.
