I think I will print a new boat
 
This is really cool. Donít worry about the pop up add it is not ď aggressiveĒ and goes away once you scroll down. I am guessing they are just using it for prototypes because of the material that the printer can use. But maybe throw some carbon fiber into it and print out your next boat. :grin

That's super-cool, but also it's a 24 foot powerboat whose hull alone weights a literal ton more than the all-up weight of a J/24.

Itís not clear if the displacement given includes the engines. Itís also supposed to be a patrol boat - going out in conditions that prudent mariners might avoid if they had the option. Displacement might not be a bad thing in such situations.
