Sailing and nautical jokes to lighten the mood :)

Since we're all cooped up and most of us are missing our boats, our travels and our friends, shall we help bring a little laughter to the group?
Tell us a sailing or nautical joke.
At the regatta, the blue sailboat hit the red one…

They were marooned!
Please, someone, come up with a better one that that.

I don't know if that's possible. You set the bar pretty high!

Re: Sailing and nautical jokes to lighten the mood :)

A friend of mine who is quite well off retired last year from his job as an investment banker. He had not been around for some time when I ran into him at the yacht club. I was there with my wife and he was with a drop-dead beautiful 20-something blonde. I walked over to them and he introduced the blonde as his new wife whom he had met on vacation in the islands. When the two women excused themselves to go powder their noses, I elbowed my friend in the ribs and said, "You old dog, you - how did you ever land one like that?"
He responded, "Oh, I lied about my age."
I said, "What did you do, tell her that you were only 55?"
He said, "Hell no. I told her that I was 85."

Why does the Norwegian navy have bar codes on the side of their ships?

So that when the ships come back into port they can Scandinavian (scan da navy in)!
