Max got his sea legs today.

Out in the Bay today, 15-20knots, gusting to 25. Great day, but the crew was not having fun. Max was scared, the admiral and her friend were no help at all, just wanted to sit and sip wine. Well as you can imagine there was a gazillion boats out, racers and cruisers. So, we motored out under the Golden Gate Bridge and sailed back DDW. But under the gate there were 10 foot swells. I thought it was fun, but Max didn't. We came about, he started to cry, then he said, "I think I'm gonna puke!". And he did, all over the Captain's seat behind the helm. Well, I deserved that one. But he bounced right back, and now he has his sea legs (I hope)! Remember those days? I do.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
