Boat Registration number

Where is it?? I was sailing around in the Vallejo race here in san francisco and the boat pix helicopter took some pic's of my boat. The only way the track the pictures they take is through the boat registration number.

So where is it?

THanks guys

Boat registration number is on the bow typically in letters 3-4" high... in California, the would start with CF I think. :) However, the boat may not have them if it is USCG documented... at least that is how it is in Massachusetts.

Check your certificate of registration your state sends you when they want more tax money (and your decal). I bet a dollar it's on there somewhere, even if your boat is documented.

According to the boat pix website they can track your boat through the event, sail number, or for documented boats the name and hailing port, maybe try that since you know the date location and make of the boat. These guys are pretty pricey though.
