Interesting video series...

Here's a youtube video series that some of you may enjoy... no fantastic high speed sailing, but a well produced documentary of a Brit's slow voyage around the British Isles in a Mirror Offshore 19 footer. More travelogue than anything, really, with good use of Google Earth and pretty high quality production.. in fact it wouldn't surprise me if the guy is a professional voice-over type.

That will get you part one, the rest are in the related listings. I've seen the first 8 so far, quite enjoyable.. they average 4-6 minutes each, so set aside some time before you start!

These first 8 have only got him 100 or so miles into the 2000 he plans, so there are a lot of bits. Interesting views of British harbours, "mud berths", and other things not normally seen on our side of the pond.

I've enjoyed them so far, YMMV.

I've often thought of splurging on one of the new HD video cameras and trying my hand at some local documentary work.
