Grampian 26 centerboard

How does it work? In the cockpit, I have a winch. A SS wire is attach to the winch, when I winch in, the wire is attached to a SS rod that moves aft, the centerboard retracts. Does anybody know how the rod attaches to the centerboard?

Tx
