Tourism in UK. Photos

The last few days have been spectacular. For me it's what boating is all about but it's miles from the sea.

Stonehenge is 5,000 years old

Salisbury Cathedral was built between 1220 and 1258 and houses the most important artifact of English legal history: The Magna Carta written in 1215 and only 4 copies made survive. This being by far the clearest and best preserved.
And hiding from general knowledge the oldest working clock in the works - working! Workings since 1386.

People can say they want freedom, but offer them the keys to what chains them, a map to where they want to go,
And they'll turn it down for the cell they know

Very cool. I donít think they had casting technology back then, so Iím imagining what it took to forge and file those gears by hand, if they didnít. Wow.

Jeanneau 54DS

In the harsh marine environment, something is always in need of repair. Margaritas fix everything.

It was amazing.
Or how they repaired it through the centuries.
