introducing solo sailor

Hello sailor mates,
I sail solo on a Catalina 22 in Alicante, Spain waters. I just finished replacing the 20 yr old standing and running rigging. I have learned so much by doing this myself and feel a great satisfaction in this mission accomplished.

I have been sailing my beloved D'Artagnan for over 2 decades. I also enjoy Sunfish and Laser Radial sailing.

Fair winds !
Lydie

Wish I could be an expat living in Alicante. I take it your British ? Either that or your English teacher was extremely competent!
Would love to hear more about the sailing there. The area is absolutely beautiful.

Welcome. That Catalina 22 is a fun and maneuverable boat to sail. It is amazing how many people started out sailing on a Catalina.
