New to Full Time Cruising and Live aboard

Hello,

My wife and I just purchased a catamaran and we are looking forward to moving on to her. Her name is Avalon and will we be documenting our circumnavigation with our two parrots Atticus and Leeloo.

I look forward to meeting new people on this great forum.

Welcome aboard Sailnet! What kind of cat do you have, and where are y’all currently located?

Thank you so much. We have a Fountaine Pajot Saona 47 and we will be in Palm Beach until we start our circumnavigation later this year.

I'll fill out our profile which would probably help.

Welcome to Sailnet!

We are also circumnavigating but currently in the Med, looking to cross the Atlantic this year. Might see you in Panama!

Welcome and enjoy the Journey. What is your planned first stop and where have you cruised to so far?

November from the Canaries?

I'll be there. Thinking of going a few days after the ARC.

People can say they want freedom, but offer them the keys to what chains them, a map to where they want to go,
And they'll turn it down for the cell they know

Similar plan at this stage! We were thinking ARC - but without wanting to start the discussion here about the pros and cons of rallies we are just going to just pick our window and head across a bit after them.

if we end up in the Canaries together......beers!
