Unhappy Ahoy There!

Hi Guys,
I'am Broke! Broken hearted that is, bad winter storm today, came home from work to find a pine tree on top of my sailboat [ a Venture 17 ] And it broke my mast! It's 3'' by 4'' not sure of the length yet. Still all ice outside. Hoping to find one.

Re: Ahoy There!

- and it was in his yard on a trailer. Yes - homeowners insurance may (therefore the question mark) cover this, and any other damage to the yard. It should also cover the cost of removal of the tree and any cleanup.

A twenty-foot annodized aluminum pole should not be that hard to find.

Re: Ahoy There!

I've purchased rigging parts from this group (new masthead block assembly, and step, and mast hinge). The parts, shipping and service were satisfactory.

Unfortunately, a new mast could cost more than the boat is worth.

I've never worked with this group.
