Hello from Alaska
Hello we live in Southeast Alaska on our boats while we are refitting our sailboat that we will take with our 3 kids on a trip from Alaska to Maine and then over the top back to Alaska.
We have been living on our boats for 4 years in preparation for our trip and hope to have Euroclydon done and in the water for New Years 2011.
my wife and I will have a billion question since we are new to long distance cruising, the longest trip I have taken was 400 miles.
Crew S/V Euroclydon
An ambitious plan. A Long Islander recently sailed the Northwest Passage circumnavigating North America. If you have a sound vessel, plan well, and practice you can succeed. Study and practice, be careful. Please report back. When you reach Long Island, I'd like to meet you.
Euroclydon has quite a bit to be done to her before we leave, I am going to do just enough to get out of here and will finish the refit in Seattle or Cal not sure witch. I live in a small fishing town so sailboat parts are hard to find at a good price.
We will keep you posted, and when we are headed that way we will defiantly come say hello.
In the mean time I am sure that my wife and I will have a billion questions.
Thanks for saying Hi.
