37CC Sinking compression post

Looked at a very nice 37CC. I assume the compression post is in a box section inside the wall between the salon on forward cabin. The door to the forward head and the folding door to the cabin both are out of alignment with their frames. It looks like the part of the wall to which they are attached has settled maybe half an inch.
Any thoughts? Is the compression post wood or metal? There is evidence of water at the floor. What does the compression post sit on?
Thanks,
Bob

Never heard of CC manufacturer.

The hysterical laughter you hear as you drive a way in your"new" boat ..... is the seller.

Re: 37CC Sinking compression post

Thanks, that is the best description of how it all goes together and what's involved to fix it. More than I want to take on. Real shame, beautiful boat, well equipped and a good price until the compression post problem.
