Wink Is a Mirage 27 good for cruising/liveaboard?

I've got a chance to buy a Mirage 27 in good condition for $5000 Canadian. Wondering if, with a fin keel, it's a good choice for cruising. I had a C&C 25 and had to handle the tiller every second. As I mostly sail alone I'd rather not be glued to the cockpit all the time. Also, I'm thinking of trying out the liveaboard lifestyle. Has anybody had experience of that on this boat?
