The aft stay is actually a split assembly. two 5/32 cables to the transom to a combiner block (whatever its actual name is?) with turnbuckle well out of my reach. That is why I did not take the measurement of the aft stay. My loos gauge does not go down to 5/32, so the measurement would have been meaningless. I will try and get a ladder or something to get up to where the dual stays come together in the next week or so. Anyway, here is a picture of the combiner block/turnbuckle.
