Re: How many P-30's still on the water?

I do like the Pearson 30 - I am glad to read that there are people keeping them alive - keep the pictures coming!

Like Rich (Ajax_MD) said, there are too many of them languishing in boat yards around the country. There are a couple in our marina that have be on the hard as long as I can remember.

I am what I am AND I am what I am NOT.

Re: How many P-30's still on the water?

Two years ago I acquired my 1971 Pearson 30, hull no. 58, and named her Port Friday. She had an extensive overhaul in the 1990s, receiving a Yanmar Diesel engine, new Doyle sails (roller reefing boom still on, but reef point on the sail) and some electronics that were removed prior today. Shes the biggest boat Ive owned, and I have had a blast sailing her - single handed, and with a crew.
