Unstepping Mast

I bought a pacific seacraft 34, going to truck it home. Can the internal wiring be disconnected from the mast ahead of time or is there no access until the mast is unstepped?

Re: Unstepping Mast

My mast has a rectangular metal plate on the starboard side near the mast base. Inside I found the wiring connections for the lights, radar, and VHF antenna.

Hey Bill
Looking at my pictures, I see the port you are speaking of.
Thanks!
